It has never been tougher out here, with both the ruling party and the opposition making a do-or die of the situation, both devising new war cries with every passing day:)If one party cries change (Didi likened the efforts of her party to the efforts of Nelson Mandela in South Africa:P)the other accuses it of misappropriation of funds.The print and the electronic media play second fiddle to one party or the other and each day, we have some 'expert' trailing some star candidate (Shobhaa De calls Ms. Banerjee ' sexier than Budhhadeb Bhattacarjee'!!) So what exactly do we look forward to?
We agree that the party in power (ruling party is a derogatory term of course) has its own share of shortcomings and goof -ups, but honestly, is that reason enough to go for a 'change'?
